Most major insurance plans are accepted at our office. There are many plans and coverage varies widely, please call us to find out if your insurance plan covers care at our office.
Insurance verification
We will do our best to verify your specific plan prior to your first appointment so that the doctor will be able to go over with you your specific insurance coverages so that you know your out-of-pocket expenses.
No insurance?
For patients who have little or no chiropractic insurance coverage, payment programs can be arranged. Chiropractic care can be extrememly cost-effective and affordable so you may still receive the care you need.
Insurance Coverage
Some insurance companies don’t cover maintenance care because they don’t consider it “medically necessary.” Why? That’s a decision only the insurance companies can explain. Most often, they focus on paying for care that helps someone actively recover from an illness or injury, rather than ongoing care once progress has plateaued. That’s one of the biggest reasons many plans don’t include maintenance or wellness visits.
That said, every plan is different. Before scheduling care, it’s always smart to review your policy and see what it says about chiropractic coverage. If it’s not clear, call your insurance company and ask—not just whether chiropractic care is covered, but also when, how much, and for how long.
